What forms of payment do you accept? Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard (At this time I am unable to accept credit cards but will accept cash or checks written on local banks, sorry about this inconvenience. I hope to have my program running again soon!). Where do you deliver? We deliver in the Wilmington area (New Hanover Co.) and some surrounding areas. We are based out of Castle Hayne, NC. Ask to see if you qualify for our free delivery area. We will happily deliver out of our free delivery zone for a $20 fee. Does someone need to be home for stork delivery? No, there does not need to be anybody at home when we set up & pick up the stork. We will make arrangements with the customer on where to set up the stork etc. and get specific instructions. When do I pay for the stork rental? You pay prior to delivery. We will not deliver without a payment being made and approved. When should I reserve a stork? As soon as you have a date, call and make a reservation. If all the blue or pink storks are out, we do have a yellow stork that we use. The plaque colors and balloons will make your baby's gender obvious! Do you have sibling stars? YES we do! They are $10 each, personalized for the big sister/brother. These are not keepsake, but if you would like to purchase the star, it would be an additional $5.00. Please let us know before delivery. The "H" stake the star sits on is not included. How are the storks displayed? The storks are one sided, so facing outwards of course! The are put in the ground with metal stakes. We use a post puller to remove the pole to prevent damage to your yard. What if I want to move the stork? Please do not move the stork! The can be easily damaged if not put up or taken down properly (and this has happened!) We would rather you call us! There may be a fee to come out and move the sign if it was put where specified to begin with. When making the reservations we will note the instructions given by you. Can I change the delivery date? Yes, but please try to do it at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date. We will do our best to have your stork when needed. Please note our answer to question #5 on reserving a stork. What days of the week do you deliver? Well, since babies are delivered every day of the week, we do too (excluding major holidays though!). As for the time of day, depending where you live, normal hours are 8am-6pm. We do require a 24 hour notice for deliveries. What if the weather is bad on the scheduled delivery date? If the weather is under watch or a warning has been posted, we will not deliver during that time! We will contact you ASAP to set up a new date and time when the weather has cleared. When will you come to pick up the stork? Depending on the number of days you rent the stork (5-7 days). If for some reason we can not make it on the scheduled date, we will contact you to let you know! As with the delivery, nobody needs to be home for the pickup. Just make sure if you paid to keep your keepsake plaque, to remove it that day. Our baby shower sign is a one day rental, so usually by 6:30 pm we will return to pick up the sign, possibly sooner depending on time set up & time of sho Do you sell gift certificates? Yes we do! A gift certificate is a great gift for the expecting parents. We can mail the purchaser or expecting couple the gift certificate for you. What is your refund policy if I cancel? We will give a refund if you give at least a 48 hour notice. If the weather is so bad (snow, ice, flooding,etc.) that we can not make it when we're scheduled, we will give you a refund. **We will not give refunds for the following reasons: *If the recipient stops us from putting up the sign or asks for us to remove the sign. *If you live in a gated community and they will not allow access to us to set up, after we make the drive over, then we will not give you a refund either. Please make arrangements for us to have access to prevent that from happening. *If there is a dog on the premises that prevents us from setting up the stork. When we set up the date to deliver, let us know if you have loose dogs on your property. We will give you a time when we will arrive so arrangements can be made to secure the dogs if needed (We love dogs and have no problem with them visiting while we deliver, but we know some can be very territorial, we have one ourself!).
